Are you OK?

You're up against the clock...again, and there is still so much to be done. Pulse racing, and getting increasingly irritable, you feel frustrated and unable to concentrate. There are days when you feel you so wound up you could take on Lennox Lewis, and others when you feel so drained and fed up that all you want to do is curl up in a corner and escape from it all.

Sound familiar? These are just some of the symptoms of being stressed, symptoms which many people will experience at some point in their lives through pressures at home or the workplace. Effects can be as wide ranging as sleeplessness, headaches, weight gain or loss, (IBS) irritable bowel syndrome, and endless colds, to name a few.

But Hypnotherapy is a natural therapy which can help you cope with the challenges and problems of everyday life. You don't need to take any pills or use any fancy equipment, the only thing you need is your mind.

The word Hypnotherapy is derived from 'hypno' - referring to hypnosis and 'therapy' - because therapeutic suggestions are given during treatment.

After a detailed consultation a treatment plan will be discussed and agreed. Treatment begins by using relaxation techniques to guide you into hypnosis, at which point therapeutic suggestions will be given; after which you are safely instructed back to everyday alertness.

Following treatment most people experience feelings of tranquillity and ease.
